Rosemary Beach Rentals
August 16th, 2010 Categories: Rosemary Beach Living, Seaside Living, South Walton Living
Rosemary Beach Rentals are properties very worthy of consideration for your next beach vacation getaway. Rosemary Beach is a 107 acres gulf front development on the very eastern end of CR-30A. Like its sister community, Seaside, Rosemary Beach was founded in the principles of New Urbanism and Traditional Neighborhood Development making Rosemary Beach Rentals appealing from a community standpoint.
Rosemary Beach Rentals also reflect the newness of the community as none of the homes are over 15 years old. The architectural styles of the Rosemary Beach Rentals are influenced by St. Augustine, Charleston, New Orleans and the West Indies. The streets are pedestrian friendly with footpaths and boardwalks. Rosemary Beach Rentals insures that cars are given secondary status and foot and bike movement throughout the community is placed at a premium.
Another reason to consider Rosemary Beach Rentals is the mixed use nature of the community such that you can dine, shop, rent a bike, bank, etc. There is a unique town square that houses some very unique shops and restaurants. Two of the newest are Paradis, a small but excellent fine dining restaurant with a comfortable and inviting full service lounge and La Crema, inspired by the tapas and chocolate shops of Madrid and Barcelona – very cool atmosphere, food offering and wine.
Of course Rosemary Beach Rentals also features other dining venues that while not as new – still stand up exceedingly well to the test of time. This includes Cafe Onano, very tiny and intimate with wonderful outside dining featuring northern Italian cuisine. Another temptation to try Rosemary Beach Rentals is the diversified Wild Olives. They feature casual and gourmet foods to enjoy on site or to take home.
There is so much more to cover that makes Rosemary Beach Rentals a must consideration when you are taking a beach vacation. I will explore more of these features in a future blog post. (Click on all pictures to Enlarge)….

|Watercolor Rentals
August 16th, 2010 Categories: Real Estate News, Seaside Living, South Walton Living, Watercolor Living
If you are considering a vacation to Destin and/or CR-30A, then Watercolor Rentals is certainly an option that you should consider. The Watercolor property sits on 499 acres and 1400 feet of sugar white beach front. Nearly 50% of the space is devoted to open space and preservation areas which helps make Watercolor Rentals a unique experience.
Watercolor Rentals also makes sense from an architectural and community feel standpoint. The homes in Watercolor have a classic, Southern architectural feel to them with use of natural landscape accentuated. Watercolor has received the Award of Excellence from the Urban Land Institute, a nonprofit education and research institute with focus on the use of land in order to enhance the total environment.
Another fun aspect for those who chose Watercolor Rentals is the option to participate in outdoor activities while staying on the grounds of Watercolor – there is kayaking, canoeing, sailing and biking. The water sports are compliments of Western Lake, a 220 coastal dune lake, that borders the property.
Another relatively new addition to the Watercolor experience that make Watercolor Rentals worth considering is the addition of Chan’s Wine World to the commercial mix of tenants. Conveniently located at the corner of CR-30A and Watercolor Boulevard, Chan’s offers a retail wine and cheese shop along with pizzas in its front room but opens to a full dining experience in the adjoining room. Outside dining rounds out a unique experience for those who chose Watercolor Rentals.
There is so much more to add as to why you should consider Watercolor Rentals – like the outstanding Fish Out of Water Restaurant overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, the Watercolor Workout Studio, the Olympic size heated pool overlooking the gulf and so much more. I will post more in depth information at a later date such that I think you will agree Watercolor Rentals will be at the top of your consideration for beach vacation rentals. |The Inn at Crystal Beach Rentals – Destin
October 22nd, 2008 Categories: Destin Living
The Inn at Crystal Beach Rentals are one of the more popular in the Destin area. The fact that the property is a low density, six floor, gulf front property with all rooms facing the gulf makes The Inn at Crystal Beach Rentals a preferred choice for in the know vacationers.
The Inn at Crystal Beach Rentals also feature a 24 hour front desk, a fitness center and covered parking. The lobby is perhaps the most inviting of all the condominium projects in the Destin area with an incredible gulf view when you enter the complex.
Perhaps the biggest draw for the Inn at Crystal Beach Rentals – aside from the beautiful rooms themselves – is Destin’s famous Beachwalk Cafe which is located on the bottom floor of the Inn at Crystal Beach. Celebrity Chef Tim Creehan’s signature restaurant is arguably the best restaurant on the Emerald Coast. Savvy vacationers who chose one of The Inn at Crystal Beach Rentals know that the food and wine for both lunch and dinner compare with any restaurant anywhere along the Gulf of Mexico. The outside dining is as good as it gets in Destin.
Another factor that makes The Inn at Crystal Beach Rentals a top choice is its proximity to Destin Commons Mall. The open air mall features over 80 stores and a 17 screen Rave Motion Picture Theater. Also a short walk for vacationers who do their Rentals at The Inn at Crystal Beach is a center that features a Barnes & Nobles Book Store. If you have would like to know more about The Inn at Crystal Beach Rentals, please contact us.

|More Caribe Rentals Information
October 14th, 2008 Categories: South Walton Living
We received such a nice response on our post about Caribe Rentals and were asked several questions about the area – that we thought that we would do another post on Caribe Rentals. Most of the questions centered around the amenities close by for one who is considering a Caribe Rental. We’ll address here just a few of the amenities that surround this unique property.
I had mentioned that Caribe was a unique gated community with its neighbor across the street being Sandestin. Sandestin is actually also on the same side of the street as Caribe making the Caribe Rentals even more appealing. We often walk down from Caribe to the outdoor cafe at the Sandestin Hilton for a wonderful lunch or glass of wine at sunset.
If you are in to walking – and we are – another reason Caribe Rentals is very popular is the morning trek that we oftentimes make to the Whale’s Tail for breakfast. The food isn’t the absolute best in town, but you can’t beat the view.
If you’re just in the mood for some barbecue or some really tasty smoky chicken, then almost directly across from the entrance to Caribe is a cool little barbecue joint. Just down the road another quarter mile is Jordano’s Pizza which also delivers to the Caribe Rental contingent.
There are also two gas stations or convenience stores about a quarter mile in either direction for the convenience of the Caribe Rental group. And just beyond the gas station to the east of Caribe are The Market Shops at Sandestin featuring a Starbucks and Beef O’Brady’s – a good place to catch sporting events. All of this within easy walking or biking distance for Caribe Rentals.

|Caribe Rentals – Miramar Beach & Sandestin
October 13th, 2008 Categories: South Walton Living
One of the coolest subdivisions on the Emerald Coast is Caribe in Miramar Beach. Caribe Rentals are the choice of many discerning visitors for several reasons.
This gated, gulf front subdivision is located directly across from its well known neighbor, Sandestin. But Caribe Rentals are just as popular as many Sandestin properties because one can stay in a more secluded, private setting – that of Caribe – and still use the amenities of Sandestin.
There are additional reasons that Caribe Rentals are very popular in the Sandestin area. Two community pools, tennis court, New Orleans style architecture, two deeded beach accesses and wonderful landscaping make Caribe Rentals one of the top rental communities on the Emerald Coast.
One of the most active rentals that we have in our program is a Caribe Rental. If you are interested in vacationing at one of our Caribe Rentals, please contact us for availability. If you if you own in Caribe and would like to discuss our property management firm for your Caribe Rental or Caribe Rentals if you own more than one property, please contact us for a personal discussion.

|Watersound Rentals
October 13th, 2008 Categories: South Walton Living
One of the most active properties that we manage is a Watersound Rental Home that stays booked a good part of the year. Watersound Rentals are very vibrant as compared to other rental communities along CR-30A.Â
There are many reasons that Watersound Rentals are a popular choice for visitors to the Emerald Coast. The Watersound community is gated, is somewhat isolated from other developments for more privacy, the unique architecture of Watersound and the surrounding amenities all contribute in making Watersound Rentals a very popular choice for vacationers.Â
Other comments from our guests as to why Watersound Rentals are so popular – beautiful community heated pool, lush landscaping, large outdoor fireplace, wonderful boardwalks and bridges nestled among natural landscape, the 18 hole Puttering Park and the grill serving lunch poolside in the summer. These are just some of the comments that make people return and think Watersound Rentals for their vacations here.Â
If you are interested in vacationing at a Watersound Rental, please contact us for more information. Additionally if you own in Watersound and would like to discuss our property management firm for your Watersound Rental or Watersound Rentals if you own more than one property, please contact us for a personal discussion.Â

|Sterling Breeze Rentals – Condos to Watch in Panama City Beach
April 21st, 2008 Categories: Panama City Beach Living
The recent announcement that the Seabreeze Jazz Festival is moving from Gulf Place in Walton County to Pier Park in Panama City Beach will give the Sterling Breeze condo rentals a real shot in the arm. The visitors who rent Sterling Breeze condos will have a variety of pluses based on their selection.
Why Sterling Breeze rentals?
(Click on all pictures to Enlarge).
The Sterling Breeze rentals should be full for all five days of the Seabreeze Jazz Festival for several reasons. First, you will be able to walk to Pier Park from Sterling Breeze. You can walk down the beach or down a sidewalk to be built.
This is not pertinent to the Jazz Festival, but imagine the impact on Sterling Breeze rentals when the new Panama City International Airport is finished in about two years. What will be pertinent are the tastefully furnished gulf front units (all units directly gulf front).
For visitors who experience Sterling Breeze rentals for the first time they will be surprised at the unique touches throughout including several flat panel televisions in each unit. The bedrooms are all tastefully decorated and every unit is completely furnished down to forks and knives.
There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy with Sterling Breeze rentals (although you could spend some time in their fully equipped gym overlooking the gulf). First and foremost is the Gulf of Mexico – but you can also enjoy the beautiful infinity edge pool, the overflow whirlpool and a wine and tapas bar (again with flat panel displays) that overlooks the pool.
The Seabreeze Jazz Festival will make Sterling Breeze rentals a tough reservation for five days in the spring, but rentals in Sterling Breeze should be brisk year round particularly once Pier Park is built out – and certainly once the new International Airport is complete.

|Giuseppi’s Wharf – Niceville
March 3rd, 2008 Categories: Restaurant Reviews
I was fortunate to be invited (by my daughter, Kelly) to the soft opening of Giuseppi’s Wharf in Niceville last Friday night. Giuseppi’s has closed their location in Shalimar and reopened in a much more scenic location on the water in Niceville. We were seated in the bar area which was very spacious with several nice televisions, but our seating also overlooked the water and boats docked right up to the wharf.
Owners Ken & Rusty have done a great job in turning this location in to what should be the go to place in the Niceville/Bluewater Bay area. Melissa is the young lady out front who coordinates the whole thing and does it all efficiently and with an engaging personality. We started with firecracker shrimp (pictured above in the first paragraph) and the hot crab dip pictured here (click on all pictures to enlarge and then back arrow key to retun to article).
The crab dip tasted of fresh crab, not too much filler and very good toasted pita bread accompanying. The shrimp dish was particularly good and again fresh shrimp, the coating still nice and crispy but not too thick and the sauce provided a really nice creamy, spicy kick. We paired all this with an Erath Pinot Gris from Oregon that is also available by the glass – an outstanding economically priced wine really good with all the seafood dishes.Â
After a very nice house salad with feta cheese, cucumber, tomato, olives and greens we made our way to the main courses.  My guest went with the snow crab which was a generous portion of crab with a butter dipping sauce while Kelly went with the Parmesan Crusted Grouper. A little dusting of bread crumbs gave the dish a nice crisp crunch blending in the parmesan with the fresh grouper.
I went with the blackened mahi mahi, which turned out to be an excellent choice. You can choose other methods of preparation (baked, grilled, etc) and side accompaniments as well – I went with the habanero infused olive oil. You also have a choice of side vegetable, and I opted for the Cajun fries. The mashed sweet potatoes looked good, but they weren’t available for this soft opening.
We decided to go with the Geyser Peak Sauvignon Blanc with our main courses (this was also particularly good with the feta cheese based salad). This is another good wine that would go well with all Giuseppi’s seafood dishes.
I wish we could have arrived before dark, as I wanted to share some pictures of the restaurant and particularly the great views of the water and the boats. Since I didn’t, you should go and send some pictures in for me to post here. There is a nice separate dining room along with the spacious bar, but no matter where you sit – Giuseppi’s Wharf is a very good dining experience on the water in Niceville. Call 850–678–4229 for directions and/or more info.
